Sityscape is a personal exploration of abstract cities — surreal worlds populated by strange creatures that feel both alien and deeply familiar.
These are not just cityscapes in the traditional sense, but inner landscapes — reflections of personality, imagination, and the hidden layers of reality.

My inspiration:
Personal fascination with surreal worlds and abstract storytelling.
Literature & fantasy: the hidden layers of reality in Neil Gaiman’s writing, urban myths, and dreamlike spaces.
Human psychology: the creatures are metaphors for emotions and states of mind — sometimes joyful, sometimes weird, sometimes a bit unsettling.
Hidden places.
The project draws inspiration from fantasy and magical realism — especially the idea of hidden dimensions that coexist with our world, as in Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere.
In Sityscape, each city is alive: its architecture is fluid, organic, and dreamlike, while its inhabitants are strange, glossy beings that mirror fragments of ourselves.
It’s like stepping into the inside-out view of personality — where emotions, thoughts, and subconscious forms build an entire parallel metropolis.
New York is one of my beloved places with it's own city legends, weird creatures, strange and beautiful corners.
"Sityscape" is not about real cities, but about the invisible ones we carry within ourselves.
It’s an imaginative journey into the “other side” of urban life — where every corner hides a secret, and every creature is a reflection of us.
